" Ar Gong, they let you go, you can come home now", those words from Rosmalin ,Ar Gong's wife, brought tears into my eyes. I cried my heart out when I read about his death, not only for Ar Gong but for all Thai citizen who still live under the cloud of fear, never know when it will be their turn, one wrong word, one wrong move could send you to jail for Lese-majesty.
You cannot even trust your friends, relatives or your neighbours who could report you to the authority any time they want for no reasons but for their own gain in their career or position. It is sad to see my beloved country has turned into the land of fear.
The authority don't seem to understand that .love and respect. have to come freely from the hearts not by harsh laws and imprisonment.
The death of Ar Gong has raised the awareness of millions of Thais throughout the country of the power of Mattra 112 that could easily ruin their lives.
Kun Yingluck and her government should be aware of the people's feeling of distrust and fear that could turn into bitterness and resentment...if the government do not try to calm their fear, the result could be devastated.
I myself live in a free country and in secured environments. In the coming election, I am free to vote for Obama or Mitt Romney, my sons can vote for anybody they want . I hope that one of these days Thai people will have the same freedom and privilege as I have in USA.
