Voûte (picture of the day)

The Cathedral of St. Patrick (commonly called St. Patrick's Cathedral) is a decorated Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States. It is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, and a parish church, located on the east side of Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in midtown Manhattan, New York City, New York, directly across the street from Rockefeller Center and specifically facing the Atlas statue.

Old London From Above

It’s a long walk to the top of St. Paul’s. And by long walk, I should throw in that there are a lot of stairs. But, after you finally arrive, you’re greeted by a wonderful view of the city. As long as you don’t have too much of an issue with heights, you’ll be in for a treat.

Even though I saw all sorts of stuff while I was up there, I enjoyed working on this photo too. I was able to zoom into 100% and look at all the details and little buildings/bridges/shops once again. It reminded me of walking around many of them at ground level.

The Daunting Dame
Notre Dame, that is. Yes THAT Notre... Paris, France.
Y'know how there's that one image (or several) that you just love, but processing it just right so it matches the vision that made you pull the trigger in the first place kinda of kicks your butt?
This is that image for me... and it's about the 4th time I've worked it from the ground up. That night it was snowing big gloppy flakes...

Control makes one Behave like a true Master! Buddha once asked: How, Bhikkhus and friends, is there full mental control? When seeing a form then one becomes neither attracted by any pleasing form, nor...
