The Portuguese bond auction sold its targeted 1.5 billion euro at lower yields than previous auction: 4.068% vs 4.346% for the 3-month paper and 4.463% vs 4.74% for the 6-month bills. The market might ease pressure on Portugal debt for some time after this and the EUR/USD could extend its upside, because the German bond auction also went well, lowering its yield (1.82% vs 1.93%) of 2-year bunds.

But the biggest surprise would surely be a swift resolution of the Greek crisis.

But it could happen — and the deadline might well be March 20.
And if it did, we could see a powerful rally in the markets as the appalling spectre of a disorderly Greek exit from the euro was lifted.

. Greek Finance Minister said yesterday that Greece is one step from closing a debt-swap deal with its private bondholders. According to Bloomberg, as an inducement for creditors, the debt would probably be governed under U.K. rather than Greek law, providing more bondholder protection.

resistance level could be located at 1.3184 and 1.3285 while to the downside support levels might lie at 1.3012, 1.2941 and 1.2840.

we also have H&S bearish formation especially if price able to make a clear break below 1.3075. A daily close back below 1.3000 would give further confirmation to this bearish scenario at least testing 1.2930 area.

Immediate resistance is seen around 1.3100. A clear break above that area could give another chance for the bullish scenario but would need a clear break above 1.3212 (the right shoulder) to cancel the H&S bearish scenario and continue the bullish scenario.
