พระเจ้าหลานเธอ พระองค์เจ้าสิริวัณณวรีนารีรัตน์ ทรงออกแบบชุดชั้นในคอลเลกชันพิเ ศษ Princess Collection ที่จัดทำขึ้นร่วมกับแบรนด์ Wacoal เพื่อหารายได้สมทบทุนการสร้างศู นย์มะเร็งเต้านม ณ สถาบันมะเร็งแห่งชาติ โดยจัดแสดง ณ หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมกรุงเทพมหานคร เมื่อวันพฤหัสที่ผ่านมา
พระองค์หญิงมีรับสั่งว่า “เมื่อเดือนกันยายนที่ผ่านมา ข้าพเจ้าได้มีโอกาสไปเยี่ยมผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งเต้านม ที่สถาบันมะเร็งแห่งชาติ ข้าพเจ้าได้รับทราบปัญหาต่างๆ ในการดำเนินงานของทางสถาบันฯ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง เรื่องของการจัดหาทุนสร้างศูนย์ มะเร็งเต้านม ดังนั้น ข้าพเจ้าจึงอยากให้ความช่วยเหลื อโดยใช้ความสามารถในการออกแบบขอ งตัวเอง มาช่วยระดมทุนจัดสร้างศูนย์มะเร ็งเต้านม”
สำหรับคอลเลกชันนี้ พระองค์หญิงมีรับสั่งว่า “การสวมชุดชั้นในก็เหมือนกับการตอกเสาเข็ม ดังนั้น ข้าพเจ้าจึงรู้สึกว่าดีไซเนอร์เ ปรียบได้กับผู้ออกแบบโครงสร้างแ ละสรีระ โดยในการออกแบบคอลเลกชันนี้ ข้าพเจ้าให้ความสำคัญกับ สี การตัดเย็บ และวัสดุที่นำตัดเย็บเป็นหลัก และเนื่องด้วยคอลเลกชันนี้เป็นช ุดชั้นในคอลเลกชันแรก ข้าพเจ้าจึงสร้างสรรค์การตัดเย็ บที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเอง ในขณะเดียวกัน ดีไซน์ก็ต้องทันสมัย สีสันและวัสดุก็ต้องแปลกใหม่ และแฝงไว้ด้วยความเป็นแฟชั่นชั้ นสูง และต้องเป็นชุดชั้นในที่ใส่แล้ว สวย ดูไฮคลาส มีสไตล์ เพราะชุดชั้นในเปรียบเหมือนรากฐ านของชีวิต เมื่อมีความมั่นใจแล้ว ก็จะดูดีจากภายในมาสู่ภายนอก” By: Phoenix Griffins
