In this Wikileaks cable dated 7 December 2005, U.S. Ambassador Ralph Boyce recounts a lunch meeting with Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, where the latter expounds on his view that he has a good relationship with the king and queen. It is an interesting account, especially as in later cables Thaksin is highly critical of the monarchy.

Boyce concludes the cable with a comment that:
Thaksin was boosted by the King’s speech and his apparent outmaneuvering of Sondhi. He was confident of his close ties to the Palace and feels that he and the King enjoy a close relationship.”

In a cable dated 5 April 2005, the Embassy observes that the queen’s remarks were somewhat different from her “highly emotional November 16, 2004 speech (reftel) where she indicated that direct self-defense measures were required to protect Buddhist Thais living in the South.”

Very deliberately, it is reported that the queen “was heard telling Privy Councilor Surayudh Shulanont [General Surayud Chulanont] that ‘His Majesty wanted to say this, but feared it would be too strong, so he asked me to speak instead’.”

We should add that we disagree with his statement that the “Government has increased the use of lèse majesté…”; unless Ji has data we haven’t seen, that is not the case when compared with the previous Abhisit Vejjajiva regime. นั่นแสดงว่าคุณมี "ทัศนคติที่เป็นอันตรายต่อการปกครองระบอบประชาธิปไตยอันมีพระมหากษัตริย์เป็นประมุข"....... ชัวร์ๆ!

ต้องถามเลยว่า คนไทยฤเปล่า? ทำไมจึงกล้าดูถูกราชวงศ์ของชาติเราเองอย่างนี้?

ถ้าเฉพาะตัวราชวงศ์น่ะ ร่ำรวยครับ เพราะเก็บสะสมกันมา

แต่ถ้าเป็น "ราชสกุล" นั้น ราชสกุลมหิดล มิได้ร่ำรวยมาก่อนครับ

ความร่ำรวยของราชวงศ์ กับ ราชสกุล ต่างกันนะ สำหรับความเห็นของผม

*เป็นความจริงครับ ในหลวงและพระราชวงศ์ได้รับงบประมาณจากภาษีประชาชนมาตลอด และปีล่าสุดนี้ได้2พันล้านเศษ(ให้ดูในเวปไซต์สำนักงบประมาณตามลิงค์ที่ให้
ไว้)

*เป็นความจริงครับว่าในหลวงร่ำรวยเป็นอันดับ1ในตลาดหุ้นไทย(โปรดดูเปไซต์ต
ลาดหลักทรัพย์ที่ให้ไว้)

*เป็นความจริงครับว่าในหลวงเป็นกษัตริย์ที่รวยที่สุดในโลก(รวยกว่าสุลต่าน
ประเทศที่มีบ่อน้ำมันอย่างบรูไนและซาอุฯ)

2.แล้วหากในหลวงร่ำรวยอย่างนี้ มันเลวร้ายตรงไหน
*ก็ไม่ได้เลวร้ายตรงไหนนี่ครับ เป็นการแสดงถึงพระราชอัจฉริยภาพของพระองค์ท่าน แล้วทำไมต้องมาตีโพยตีพายเวลามีคนพูดเรื่องจริงแบบนี้

3.แล้วในหลวงและพระราชวงศ์ใช้งบประมาณจากภาษีประชาชนผิดหรือเสียหายตรงไหน?
-ไม่เลยครับ ไม่มีอะไรเสียหาย ในเมื่อพระองค์ท่านและพระราชวงศ์ต่างก็ทรงงานหนักจนพระเสโทไหลท่วมพระวรกาย ต้องทนทุกข์ตรากตรำพระวรกาย ทรงงานให้คุ้มกับภาษีที่ประชาชนจ่าย

สรุปแล้ว การที่ผมนำความจริงที่เป็นการเทิดพระเกียรติมานำเสนอนี้ มันเลวตรงไหนครับ?

2,086,310,000 บาท ....... เลี้ยงครอบครัวที่ไม่มีจะกินได้กี่ครอบครัว

ถ้าคนไม่มีจะกิน ครอบครัวละแสนก็หรูหรามากเลยหละ....... นั่นก็ช่วยได้แค่ 20,863 ครอบครัวเท่านั้นเอง!

แต่เราต้องสำนึกไว้หน่อยว่าศักดิ์ศรีและคุณค่า "ความเป็นมนุษย์" น่ะไม่เท่ากัน
"ชีวิต" ของสามัญชนผู้ไม่มีอันจะกิน 20,863 ครอบครัวนั้น ไม่สำคัญเท่ากับ "ความกินดีอยู่ดี" ของผู้มีบุญญาธิการเพียงครอบครัวเดียวหรอกครับ
